Can I make money blogging?
So I love to write, but is there anyone I can get paid to blog. I am looking into blogger.com, but does anyone specifically know if you get paid from advertisers if you let them post on your webpage. I can’t find it in the terms or agreements.
There are currently 133 million blogs. Most of them have an audience of one. You can sign up for the advertisements and get paid whenever someone buys something after clicking thru on your blog. But do you really want people coming to your blog to buy stuff at Amazon.
The best way to make money is to write such interesting articles that people pay for a subscription. You charge each reader $100 a year and give them a password. They log on daily to read what you have to say.
Most people running the ads are lucky to get $2 a month. And the ads make the site look cheap.
Dont know how it is with blogs, but i make money writing for hubpages:
With blogger.com you can post google adsense ads on your blog. If you have a lot of traffic and your viewers are clicking the ads it’s possible to make money, but most people don’t. Just writing along won’t bring traffic to your blog. You really have to be able to promote your blog if you want to make any money.
I did start a blog on blogger.com, but now I write on sites that handle the promotion and share ad revenue with me. Of course I do occassionly do some of my own promotion too. Check out my profile for links to the sites I write for. You won’t make a whole lot right away, but you get ongoing income from the articles you post, so your income increases as you post more articles.
